sharpening Brad point bits

Has anyone tried to sharpen bradpoint bits ? can they be sharpened?

I don't know if you can sharpen them as a brad point or not...

A drill doctor will turn them into a standard twist bit. (Love my drill doctor, and did convert a 7mm brad to a twist with it).

You can fix a rest on a grinding wheel on the angle the bit is grinded on and touch it very lightly at a time. if you hold a brad point bit perpendicular to the edge or corner of the wheel and look at your angles you'll see where you need to be. I've done it several times with great success. mostly thev've cut better afterwards than new with less blowouts at the end of drilling acrylics.
