Anyone order a Delta 46-460 off of Amazon lately?

I went to the Amazon site today to once again longfully look at my next lathe when I notice that Amazon it not directly shipping it at this time. There is a warning on their site. Anyone know about this?

I ordered a 46-460 from Amazon in late December, as soon as the "back order" had ended. (at that time, they were $549, free shipping and $50 rebate).

I was worried because I had heard rumors that the lathe had "changed" when Delta got bought out. I was afraid the new stock would be different than the old stock.

I had a Woodcraft clerk contact the Delta rep who relayed that the new December stock would have two small differences from the previous edition. In my mind, they were meaningless changes.

In reality, when my lathe arrived the only visable change from my neighbor's older was a new and different switch. ( I like the new switch, as it seems to make it harder for dust to get trapped).

THE SHORT VERSION: somebody else ships almost everything Amazin sells. I'LL BET YHE WARNING IS BECAUSE A VENDOR FOUND SOME OLDER (pre-Nov 2011) STOCK!

My guess is because the product description has this at the bottom:

The parts that I highlighted in red are most likely NOT included but it says they are... Someone goofed and so I'm guessing that they will bring it back online once they fix the description.

Good catch on the product description section. That is probably why. I am currently saving for this lathe so I was worried.

ROTFLMAO! I'd definitely order one, now! You might get some "we're sorry, we goofed stuff!

After seeing the other post on this Delta lathe, I ordered one from Amazon last Wednesday. $599 and free shipping along with the $50 mail in rebate. I received the unit on Friday. I'm glad I finally went for it.
