I have sold my woodturning specific lathe & tools and now am setting up my new Sherline CNC Metal Lathe. Unfortunately the Sherline headstock has a #1-MT and ¾-16 TPI external thread. Can't easily use my 1x8 Midi parts.

I would think you can get an adapter to go from 3/4-16 to 1-8 cheaper and easier that selling these and buying new.

Jason thanks for the info but at the moment I need the cash to buy tooling and don't know what else yet. I have project ideas in mind and have to see what I can do on this lathe. Easier to turn a cylinder on a metal lathe but profiles are hard without special tools.

I was turning an aluminum 3" disc on the wood lathe with turning tools. by hand and it wasn't pretty. I am making some fly fishing reels out of alum and brass and the metal lathe is a necessity. Thanks for your research!

My set has been sold but there is another set offered by PSI. The Beall set includes:
1/4"
3/8"
1/2"
5/8"
3/4"
And the collet holder is 1" x 8TPI
