Got my Vacuum Chamber built, and thanks to Curtis for the help and allowing me to copy his design.
Let me be the first to say hats off to Curtis for selling his at the price he does, this thing is a lot of work, and I don't see how he makes a profit. Only reason I made my own was I already had the acrylic in the shop and had time, don't think I would like to make these and try and sell them, I'll i'll let Curtis do that.
I still have to make a weight, and make the seal for the lid; I plan on using a 1/16" thick Silcone rubber sheet and cut it for the seal. (Shown under the chamber the red sheet it's sitting on)
Even with out the seal it still pulls a vacuum, I can't wait to try it out, I still gotta go to goodwill and find a toaster oven.
See the attached Pictures (not the best I took with my phone)
Next is to work on my pen press, I'll post pictures when I get it done.
Thanks
Danny
