Does anyone know where to get some of the gold/silver/copper flake blanks? I saw a member had them on here at one point, but missed the oppertunity to get some of them. Also, any tips on turning and finishing them? Anything special i need to know about the blanks?

MajorBDK used to sell them in the old classifieds. Maybe reach out to him and see if he still makes them. I think he was the original but not sure.

Not sure who was first and there is probably no way to know for sure, I always saw them being sold by Durocshark on here in the past.
 
Wood Turningz had some in their "Diamond Series" section. I had a customer furnish two to me to make pens: "Galaxy" and "Milky Way".

THATS THE ONE I WAS THINKING OF!!!!! I just started searching in the classifieds but only found the one so I figured I was wrong. Thank you for clearing that up. They are awesome blanks.
