Has anyone used the PSI stylus refills? Seems like an inexpensive way to create a stylus.

As I understand it, those are old school styli and won't work with those devices that require capacitive styli such as i-stuff.

Actually, PSI does have the new type stylus/pen combos. They work well with iPhone, iPad, Android and even the games with touch screen.
The stylus actually work better than the CSUSA models because the tip is smaller, allowing more typing room on smaller keypads.
Unfortunately, these stylus are NOT available in the better platings. They come 24K, gun metal and chrome.
As of this morning, stock has been depleted on these with expected restocking occurring the week of Christmas.

If you take note of the thread's title and the OP, you will find that they are discussing the styli refills that simply replace 'cross' and 'mini' refills, not the stylus or stylus/pen combo kits.
Thanks for the heads up. I thought CSUSA was the only one offering a capacitive (sp?) stylus. Looks like you can only get the stylus kit. It would be nice if they offered just the tip so you can add it to a slimline....I've had a number of people indicate interest in that.

Yes, PSI offers PDA refills that will fit into a pen using a Cross type refill. Additionally, they offer the "I" type rubber capacitive tips.

It is my understanding that the "refills" (rubber tip, capacitive stud and trim ring) will be available in late December.

My daughter just purchased a Kindle Fire. Will the Cross style stylus refills work with it?

No. The Kindle Fire is a new touch screen type device and requires either a finger or capacitative stylus.
The old style PDA stylus only works with the "non-touch", button type kindle, or "button type" PDA devices.
