Regifting

What are your thoughts on Regifting? I think it is fine. When it is something useful. We got a fondu pot one year for Christmas, regifted it to my grandmother in January and she loved it.

It's a great idea, the only problem I have is I forget who gave it to me, so that I don't give it back???? I even forget where I put the book I wrote the list in.

Regifting is fine...just keep track of where you got things!!

They have parties wrapped around regifting, they are called White Elephants. I regift a lot. We used to have a large tote that we would put stuff in and if we were invited somewhere and forgot to get a gift we went to the tote.

It was not unusual to get a gift for Christmas that we gave to my grandmother for Christmas the year before back when she was alive.

If she didn't have a use for something you gave her more times than not she gave it as a gift later on.
