Hey where's the snow? Where are the downed tree limbs and power lines? What kind of life is that? Where's the challenge?

There hasn't been any snow here for a loooong time. Occasionally there are some downed trees and power lines. Life is REALLY good and, I guess the challenge would be ....dodging sun rays:biggrin:

Chuck, you are probably the most sick and twisted person that I know.

I mean that in a good way I guess.

At least we have beautiful leaves.....................then the back ache from raking.

My wife lived in Venice when she was 9. Her and my daughter made a trip there in 2010 and visited the neighborhood where she lived. Don't know why anyone would want those warm temps and sandy beaches when you can have freezing temps and nice heavy, wet snow to shovel! But to each his own!

I took these shots with you in mind. I knew you would appreciate me:tongue:
Don't forget your roots!

Thanks alot Ron. Have fun with your rake. And then your shovel.
Is there still a spare bed in the doghouse:biggrin:.
Yep! That spare bed is still here.

I remember you telling me that Lenny. Venice is a nice little town. Everybody likes those shops on Venice Ave. Stay warm friend!

On the flip side though, I guessing there aren't a lot guys sporting bananna hammocks in Maine!

Lenny you are one sick puppy!!!!:biggrin::biggrin:

Chuck, the only thing stopping me from coming down is November and December. After that I can take a vacation at anytime. Although the derby city classic is mid January. So it will have to be after that!!

But I'm set!
 It's a beautiful planet we live on.

Ernie, I will still be here. Make your plans accordingly and, let me know.

Chuck,

your forgot to mention that that's the view on a bad day....
Rich, I can tease my friends a little, for awhile but, I don't want to push it too much:biggrin:

What's that bright thing in the background?:biggrin:
That's called the sun. Remember? Bet you haven't seen it for awhile.

Go ahead, rub it in. All I know is I have more free wood then I would be able to use in 5 life times....LOL
Sorry Neil! The good part is that, you keep your chainsaw blades sharp. Do I see blanks for sale soon?

Hmmmmm

To be honest, I've been to Florida quite a few times starting in 1959 (stationed there for 6 months) and ending about 1993 - never saw anything that would make me want to stay for longer than two weeks. Of course I am not that keen on California either.

There's a different perspective:eek: I was stationed in Key West for exactly 365 days. I finally got to go back. I've found and, experienced LOTS of things I like. All a matter of satisfaction. Some might be better off staying where they are. I like the beach!:island::beer:

Awesome sunsets! Wish I was there!
Dave, you're right. It WAS an awesome sunset. BUT, the day before was even more beautiful than this day. Problem is, we were on the interstate headed east without a camera  But, I got to watch it in my mirror

" It's a beautiful planet we live on."

Most definately! And I'd like to thank you all for leaving me the frozen parts!
