My wife just started a job recently in PA. Went for a visit this weekend and she sent home a case of Yuengling with me. Just finished an icy cold one!
Mmmm!

You're making me jealous:wink:. My all time favorite beer. Unfortunately I moved to the midwest many years ago and only have one,(or several), when I'm back for a visit. Not often enough:frown::frown::frown:. I'll just have to enjoy one vicarously through your post. Enjoy:biggrin:

I took a tour of the original Yuengling brewery in Potsville PA last week. It was very interesting. If your ever in the area I would highly recommend taking the tour. I also enjoyed the tasting afterwards.
I am particularly fond of their new Octoberfest. It's only available in kegs this year but they told us if it's popular they will bottle it next year. Luckily for me, I live in PA and Yuengling is readily available here.

It is one of my favorites as well. I have been hooked on it since I was enlisted the Navy stationed in Philly over a decade ago. When I was stationed in London, UK, I was able to persuade the base exchange to order a pallet of it when I a gathered up a six page petition for them to order it. My British neighbors loved it as well and always found an excuse to come over to visit the Americans and have a beer or six.

Second the Octoberfest... that is my second favorite behind the original. My local neighborhood watering hole even took my advice to get a keg of the Octoberfest, and they say it is going quick!

Just got back from a business trip in Lansdale, PA and the hotel I stayed at had Yuengling on tap at the managers social each evening. Great tasting beer and sure wished they had it in Louisiana.

I almost always have a case of Yuengling in the fridge. If you happen to by chance be in or near Bedford, PA look me up and stop in for a few.

Seems to be a pretty popular beer!
I wanted to try the octoberfest but the two or three places I was in over the weekend only served the sam adams octoberfest. It wasn't bad
