A Couple that Curtis Bought-Banksia and Pine Cone

Curtis was gracious to help in raising funds for my family's adoption. Here are two of the blanks he purchased. The first is a Banksia Pod blue resin. I was hoping for wider eyes to show the blue, but I like the simplicity shown with the small amount of resin for this pen.

The second is a pinecone with blue resin. I drilled it off center to show more blue as well as get the effect of the center of the cone.

I really like the Vertex. I haven't had any failures so far, and I like the silent, smooth clicking mechanism.

I have done both Banksia and Pine Cones and love the look of both. I need to cast up the Banksia that is under my desk.

I like the Vertex. They seem to work very well and the quality is good. I only bought one, but will be buying more.

I really like the vertex pine cone. One of the nicest pine cone pens I've seen. The resin looks fantastic on the 2nd pic, bet that's a beauty in person.
