Can't do it

I have been approached to offer a sale on Streamline (a.k.a Roadster/Trimline/Anelli and possibly other names) compenent sets in Gold Titanium and/or Rhodium finishes. For a couple of reasons I can't do this.

It won't work as a group buy because the supplier does not stock the item in those finishes so it will require a special order.

On similar items when I tried to do purchases there has been no where near enough interest to generate a large enough order to even justify the supplier accepting the order much less giving a discounted price.

I don't stock and don't intend to stock the item in my store.

While a few people have mentioned this, due to IAP rules I can't ask about interest to see if the interest is out there so I have no way of finding out if there would be enough interest to make it worth while.

That being the case, I will not be following through on this.

Probably so, but in this case it would be beneficial to the community. I think it would be good for us all if IAP vendors could get a better idea of what we want.

Please don't go there. I'm not looking for a critique of IAP rules, just telling people that I'm not going to do a particular offer that some have requested.

Well, I am one person who has asked about better platings in this set of components.

I have posted here http://www.penturners.org/forum/showthread.php?t=85365

to see what others think and to find out if anyone knows of any sources for better platings.

I'm certainly NOT trying to start any trouble or get anyone to violate any rules ... so if it goes in that direction I hope it will just be deleted.

Well Lenny, looking at your thread I think you've found that what you're interested in (as well as some others who've asked me) is available at what look to me like reasonable prices.
