I know everyone has their own way of keeping track of their bushings, from pill bottles to anything else. I put a small nail in the wall and hang them there in a bag from a used bag from a pen kit.

Please any "well duh" you have that seemed so obviouse to you, please put in here.

Well, Duh!! LOL, hey its all good, I just recently went to wally world and in the hygene section picked up some little containers just big enough to hold them for like .50 each.
Heck , some are still in their bags in a container box.

What do catipellers have to do with pen turning?

I think what Fred is saying, is no matter how you store them, always double check them with calipers, not catepillars, so you know for sure that you have the right ones. Its always better to check twice, turn once!

Reminds me of the statement:

"No matter how many times I cut this it is still too short!"

I personally use the pill bottle method, but what works best for you is good. Like Seamus said, measure twice and turn once. Edicehouse, were those catapillars D8 or D9?

Ben

Oh I got them off TV, it was buy 1 set get a second free. My daughters loved releasing the butterflies.

(Hope everyone realizes I am joking around)
