Offset Turned Mallet

Needed a chisel mallet. This one inspired by an article on wkfinetools.com.

First offset turning. I need a little more practice.

Mallet head is Maple. The handle is from a pallet that arrived from Central America. In the rough, I thought is was Ipe. After turning it, I believe it is Mahogany.

Yes, they do. I originally called it a "teenager tamer" but my kids objected. :laugh:
