Been very happy with the Cannon Powershots. One I got for free for signing up with Discover Card. It is still working great. I just purchased a New Powersthot SX230 because my free one was always somewhere with my wife when I needed it. So far I am happy with the new one, but it hasn't been mine long.

David since you did not say what your budget was, it will be kind of hard to give you the best advice. My old Fuji S7000 is still being used by my son. If you liked your Fuji, then I would say try to get a Fuji FinePix to replace it.

I'm a Canon guy. I've used a 20d for years now and have never been dissatisfied. A small part of me wishes it would die so I could upgrade to a 60d, but it just keeps going, shooting pictures that are super good.

Dad? I didn't know you were on here

I say that because my dad says the EXACT same thing about his 20d. I have a T1i and love it.

+ 1 on the 20D. I've had one for about 5 years and love it. I also have 2 powershots, an ancient (by electronics standards) Kodak 4300, 2 old Canon 35mms, and 1 polaroid I can no longer find film for :(.

I use the 20D when I want semi-pro style pics and the powershots live in the cars, so when ever we go somewhere there is always a camera available. My son claims the Kodak as his, so I let him use it.
