Tick Tock -- Winter is coming.

Suddenly the heat wave doesn't seem so bad.

I'm Georgia born and reared, spent 3 years in Alaska, 2 tours in Thule, Greenland, that was almost fifty years ago and I ain't thawed out yet. Snow is very pretty ----------------on a calendar!!

I figured out years back that I was born in the wrong hemisphere. I always want it to be cold when it is hot here, hot when cold, dry when wet and wet when dry. Worse even than that, I want to be up at night and asleep while the Sun is up but always had a job that starts at 6:30 to 7:30 A.M. Talk about being out of Sync your whole life! It surprises me that I do not try to turn wood back onto finished pens!

Rob,

I live near you and all I can say is you're one sick puppy:bulgy-eyes:. I'm not a big fan of the heat but the cold in the flatlands can be unbearable. I would be happy with fall weather all year long - 70-80º, low humidity, 50-60º at night.
Looking forward to late Sept:wink:.

Yeah, I'm the same. I would be happy with those temps as well. Mid 60-70's with low humidity in the shop is great.
