Anybody else find that the PSI 3/4" insert is just a smidge LESS than 3/4"? I have my 3/4" castings and 3/4" bar stock brass, neither of which will fit.

I was thinking of tapering a piece of bar stock and using it to stretch the insert, but I don't know if that would help or hurt...?

I just tried a piece of Aluminum stock that measures .751. It fit into my PSI 3/4"collet ok.

Don, If it comes down to having to buy at single collet, consider the 19-20 mm metric collet. 0.748-0.787. Although I don't have an imperial one to measure, I think the 20mm side of the metric one is a little bigger. I's worth thinking about if you have to buy one.

+1 I have the 20-19 as well and the 13/16"

George (Texatdurango) suggested they would be the most useful extra collets and he was right!!!

I can't find any results for the ebay seller I purchased mine from, but I did find this seller for individual collets ...

Ebay seller: us_shop_tools

Buy now price of $13.75 .... shipping is almost as much :rolleyes: but if you buy a few at the same time it isn't so bad. (I believe he combines shipping)
