Yep, today is my wife and I have been married 12 yrs. Usually we don't even remember our anniversary. This year I don't know if she remembered, but I did, so I baked a cake! Daddy's gettin lucky tonight!!!

This cake is made by me from scratch out of a betty crocker box. I did all the instructions and baked it. I picked a bunch of fresh strawberries from my berry patch out back and added some red sauce stuff out of a bag from the store. It's two layers thick. I added chocolate frosting then the strawberries and then the cake on top then more frosting and then more strawberries and then the whole can of whipped cream :good:

Man that looks like it's gonna be messy. Congrats on 12 years

Will I complain if she has to wear the cake?

Jeff, congrats to your better half on enduring 12 years!!

Here's a little tip from a friend......

Women NEVER forget an anniversary, so unless you got her at least a nice bunch of flowers, then you might be wearing the cake:tongue::biggrin:

I didn't get her anything, just made her dinner and a cake. Later tonight I'll take a shower and come out into the bedroom and shout "this is a stick up b#$@!...gimme something!"

we don't need to buy useless items to show our love. If she wants something I always get it for her as long as it's a cash buy, which we both agree about anyhow.

Wow what a beautiful cake......No really, congrats to you and your wife have fun! By the way don't trade what you do for baking OK.
