I went out to do some casting,
to catch up.

It's 117 degrees in my shop:eek:... I poured one set and gave up.

I'll try again in a few hours. It's supposed to in the high 80's to mid 90's all week.
Next week is shut-down and I plan to get 10 gallons cast to fill my racks back up.

WHAT!!!!
I hear all the time "50 below zero how the hell do you even live through that!" Eat for the cold and wear the right gear. 117! You cant get more naked than naked and short of sitting on a block of ice there ain't much more that you can do! How the hell are you even conscious at 117! I got mild heat stroke last time I saw 85!

It is a dry heat. That doesn't hurt so much as the heat in the mid west where the dew point hangs around 70 and the temp gets up over 100. Now that is just plain miserable. Like I was taught year ago, when the wether gets like that, walk real slow, drink lots of water and stand in the dark spots. Winter is just round the corner.

Well i've poured a gallon of resin today. Temperature is mid 70's with the heat index approaching high 90's. Gotta love the Ohio Valley!

The summers in Michigan were one of many reasons I headed north ASAP but 100 was rare. Seems everyone is seeing deadly weather more often these days! Be careful guys heat like that is nothing to mess with.

Yeah, it's 16 percent today. But in monsoon it gets hot AND humid. But it only lasts a while, and AZ is geared for the heat...everything is air conditioned! I love it here. I don't mind the heat, and cold makes my arthritis flare, so the 80 degree winters make up for it.
