Can't be without IAP while in the shop!

Actually, I just got an iPad and built this holder so that I can have easy access to cut lists for different projects I am working on. I found an app that lets me annotate PDF files so I load the pdf files onto the iPad and then can pull them up on the screen. Then, as I make a certain cut, I can draw a red line through the particular rip. Then, as I cut each piece, I can place a red dot on the piece showing that it has been cut. It works EXTREMELY well and beats the heck out of trying to keep up with a printed cutlist. And since I use the same cutlist many times, I keeps me from having to print a new copy every time, wasting paper!

Just don't get distracted or you might not be able to count to 10 again! LOL!!

Nice setup BTW! I don't know if I could stay focused with that above my saw blade.....

Looks prettty neat!

Can I ask what APP you use for your cut lists?

I am not currently using a cut list app directly for the iPad. However, I am going to be beta testing one real soon. I am currently using CutList Plus on my computer and then creating a PDF of the layout. I then transfer the PDF for my iPad and use Readdle PDF Expert to view it and mark it up as I go. Works GREAT.
