I don't think the real problem is the addiction so much as it is the pushers. You guys know who I mean. And the pushers know who they are. They have a cute name they go by here. They call themselves "VENDORS". Every time I want to make a new kind of pen, I have to deal with at least 2 different push . . . . . . I mean "VENDORS". I find the pen kit I want, then I see if I just order 1 more, then I get a discount. See how they lure us in? Plus, it's just silly to place an order for 1 pen kit. So my usual order gets up above $50 in a hurry. Sound familiar to anyone?
Well, then since I have my fancy new pen kits on order, I want the steel between center bushing from the bushing push . . . . . . . . I mean "VENDOR". Well then I again think it's silly just to order 1 set of bushings, so I think I might try "XYZ" pen down the road, so I get those too. This way I don't feel so bad with the shipping charges.
Then it's off to another "VENDOR" (I did it right that time), to get that special blank for my new pen. But I know I bought 2 kits, so I need 2 blanks. But I see if I just order a few more, I get another discount. So then I get smart. I call back the 1st Pusher (I won't pretend anymore), and add to my order just enough kits of the new pen style for the other set of bushings I bought from pusher #2. (Is everyone keeping up?).
So the long story short, this time I bought just enough kits, blanks, and bushings so I'm done shopping, right? WRONG!!! 2 of the pushers sent me FREEBIES!!. It's a never ending cycle.
Oh, and I can quit anytime I want.
