Ok, I use Outlook Express for my email. Now for some reason, when I am on the Internet and I click on an email address to respond to an ad or whatever, I get this pop-up:

Microsoft Outlook 2007 Startup, Welcome to the 2007 startup wizard which will guide you through the process of configuring Outlook 2007.

HOW do I keep this from popping up? I don't want outlook 2007. My outlook express is what I want! Any body know how to delete this pop-up from continuing? Any answers appreciated.

This may happen if you have recently installed Microsoft Office. You can go to the list of programs and search through there until you find outlook express, right click and select .."send to" then select send to desktop create shortcut. Outlook and outlook express are actually two separate programs. Express uses a blue colored icon and outlook uses an orange colored. I know this sounds simple but I'm not sure how much you do with windows. If you have done that let and it still doesn't work I will send you to the next steps.

Go to tools on the IE Bar then internet options then click on the programs tab and you can select outlook express as your default email

I have had Microsoft Office on here for a while. I know it does updates occasionally and maybe it stirred something up. Also, I do have Express as my default email. I just want the pop up to go away!

Just to get the pop up to go away, can I go ahead and do the wizard install and then once it is installed, go back to the control panel and make outlook express my default email? At least the pop up would go away, right?

If you don't use Outlook at all, you can uninstall it via Office setup.

I would think so, but if you're not using Outlook getting rid of it would free up a bit of space on your hard drive as well.

So, I looked at my Add/Remove programs and my Microsoft Office is all in one program. How do I remove it without removing other Microsoft Office applications?
