I have recently been the recipient of some VERY generous members here at the IAP, folks who have gone way above and beyond with a couple of recent projects I am working on. I have thanked them but feel that I need to spin the Karma wheel and see who benefits.

Here's the deal....

For the first 5 NEW turners/1st time PITH participants (and only you can decide if you qualify, some folks turning for three months are much more advanced than others turning for three years) who want to enter the PITH but do not feel they have a good enough kit or blank, PM me and I will set you up with a kit and blank(s) for the PITH. I will even include bushings! US shipping included.

Selection will be from CSUSA Jr Gent 2 or Clicker pens in gold finish (should go with the pine theme!)

PM me and I will let you know which kits are available.

WOW, thanks for the offer Jon, I do qualify, and am joining the PITH this year but will let this go to someone who needs it more.

The pen turning (and woodworking) communities are a great place!!!!!

I would love to get in on this. I scoured my shop and dont have a single pine blank in the whole shop, but would love to get in on the PITH.

Hi Jon,
I just started turning in January and this is my first PITH. I would like to get in on this also. People on here are so kind and lots of them are having some excellant Karma coming there way.

Send the kit of your choice and I will try to do it justice. Will PM address if accepted.

Jon... I start through first of 2011 and this is my first PITH. I'm interested if you think I qualify. I'm interested in a Jr. Gent. It would be my first. Thanks.

Okay, I'm up for most pen turning projects and challenges. I guess being new to pen turning I may not know better. So with that I have to ask, what's a PITH?

Hey John, put me down. I just got a lathe this past Christmas and have been turning since the first of the year. Learned a lot from this site and mostly just want to participate. Not real sure how the whole deal works about getting paired up and all, but look forward to learning. Sounds like fun. Let me know if I am in.

FYI Jon is offering this so you can take part in the one I linked. There is only one going on right now. I am pretty new and I believe there is normally 1 a year or 2 as there may be this year.
