Just a small upset with Customer Service .. On 4/22 at 10:19PM I place an order for kits totaling $230. The very next morning (4/23) I got the confirmation of the order and another note with a $10 off $75 and then a bot later another note. So I proceeded to call PSI .. after several attempt of getting a busy signal I decided to fax them .. with the same request .. "Would they Honor the $10 off" (after all that is 2 gallons of petro) .. the first 4 times my fax machine called, their machine was not accepting calls ... then finally it went thru .. made me happy .. but NO response from them .. so just now I tried calling their 800 number - get a message it phone message bucket is full ..

Perhaps they just don't care about customers any more ...

Maybe PSI uses Amazon data services. Amazon has been having data center problems for 2 days. It has caused degradation of services and even outages for some sites. If that's the case for PSI, they're probably overwhelmed trying to do it all by phone.

It is hit and miss with PSI customer service. Never email, never use the contact us form, you have to call. As sad as that may seem that is the way it is. I like their stuff, and sometimes I get it fast, sometimes slower. Many places resell what they have too, so that is always an option. I personally like the $5 off I get for reviewing something I have purchased. Makes the shipping not hurt so much and I normally will opt for USPS because UPS seems to take longer for some reason. Just my opinion and thoughts. I have never had the line be busy, but I have got a recording stating they are closed when calling during times posted on their site. I know it doesn't help you, but that is a known issue with them. Once you talk to someone they help you out and get you what you need, it is just getting someone to talk to that is a pain.
 
Where I have a problem with PSI is when they send out a catalog with a "NEW" item. Then you go on the internet site and it tells you it cannot find the item. :mad: So you call them and they cannot find the item listed in their data base. :mad: Now it is listed in their site, but with a note "Out of Stock" :mad: So far it has been two and a half weeks and it is still listed as "Out of Stock". :devil: This has happened before with them.

So they put something in their catelog that they anicipated having in stock by the time the catelog was designed, printed and mailed (weeks if not months in the making). When it wasn't available they listed it as out of stock. That's your big complaint that you think needs big red letters?

Not sure how you placed an order before you made this post and how you got a response a day before you posted this, but if PSI didn't respond yesterday you might consider that yesterday was Good Friday and some businesses take it off as a holiday
 
PSI Problem Update

OK .. so I finally got to talk with a CSR from PSI. They had no power last Friday .. I can buy that with the storms but on the other hand, I did get a conf. of the order and withing 2 hours got the email for the special $10 off .. and they did have power to charge my CC on Thursday the day after I placed the order and a day after I emailed and fax'ed them ...
According to the CSR ... the $10 off came from their "publisher" and they can't do anything about previous orders. My loss but theirs in the long run ... since there are so many alternatives. OK so I'm cheap ...
