Second custom center band pen. I love Leyland Cypress!

I had to try another custom center band pen. This one's Leyland Cypress with polyresin center band. I didn't have to glue this one in place as it fit a lot better than the last one did. CA finish. I also discovered that in the early stages of MM, the power going out is the 3rd most inconvenient power outage I've experienced. It sat on the lathe and bugged me all day at work. I should have added a fresh coat of CA and started over, but didn't realize that until It was in diresct sunlight. Live and learn!:biggrin:

I especially like the light wood. I get almost exactly the same kind of look using wild plum. Nice job.
