Unless I'm missing something, then I don't see a problem:confused:

Someone in Australia is selling a watch part Sierra on Ebay, that was made by Barry Gross.

Only thing I noticed is the watch face isn't straight. I also didn't know Barry was into casting, of course I don't follow him except his articles in the mag. The "1 of 1" is a little misleading. All of which are trivial items. What is it that raised questions for you?

I do like the presentation box. The next time Bruce makes some of the watch blanks I'm going to have to get a couple. I really like the looks of them.

I don't know don't really see see anything wrong. I have been a member of eBay for over 12 years now.

The only thing I see is some one is trying to resell an expensive pen they bought. Description looks accurate as does the photos. I too like the box as it should be for the $$$. Shipping is a little high but insurance and overseas accounts for that.

So I see nothing wrong.

Depending on the shipping method used that might not be out of line. You could spend that much and more sending a $600.00 pen USPS to Australia depending on the service you chose.

The thing that really jumped out at me was the price of the pen. $300+ for a sierra seems a bit much. Watch part fountain pen, sure, but a single tube twist ballpoint?

It looks like one of the gears is broken too.

Same thing I noticed. Solid silver-colored one by the clip is broken in two.

Yes the chrome ones are hard to bend they snap. But there is a way
Pricey yes some one is trying to get paid for ALL there time  or I should say some one got paid and now there trying to recoup there money
.

You can go to Barry's web site and see similar pens for $425 direct from him. Barry commonly goes to most of the fountain pen shows and these prices are typical for his pens. If he wasn't selling them at these prices, I suppose he would stop.

Can't say i see anything "wrong". Price is in line with what is being sold on the makers website. The main nit-pick thing I can see is that if it were me packaging these pens to sell I'd have each gift box laser engraved to MATCH the type of watch pen being sold. Yeah it would be a bit time consuming keeping track of it all, but the way it is now seems a bit off to me. Having it all match would look more complete for me.

I also would have considered placing the clip over the broken peice.
