Well the Ohio River is busy coming out of its banks. The Casino is closed. We were told today that we are going on 12 hour days.Looks like I get to pull 11 more days before I can go home. They would not let me bring my lathe:mad:.Going to have alot of wood around when this goes down.I have not seen anything good floating down river.Just some big trees and some barges.Going to go play in the water in the morning.I hope it is not 35 degrees again.Looking forward to getting home.

When you are playing in the water, are you pushing the driftwood out into the current so floats down here and we have to clean it up?

So you are stuck in the casino for most of two weeks, can't get home because of the high water and you miss your lathe? Not your dogs, not your wife?

Hang in there and don't float away.

Gerry we had the snow plow out driving out in the water. It pushes alot of water.SO I think there will be plenty of trees coming that way.

Hang on now .. Gerry can't have ALL the good stuff ... some of it needs to come this way

Sorry you are stuck and without your favored recreational choice :frown:. I hope that the flooding really doesn't get too bad - we have all had enough already and it isn't even technically spring yet. I fear we may have a rough one . Everyone stay safe, warm and dry!

There's a house forsale across the street from me:island: Just sayin....

Sorry to hear of this Todd. Hope it's over soon. Take care

Hey Todd, what are the chances you can push those floaters upstream? I've been keeping my eye out but nothing worth pursuing yet. Hope you can get things back to normal so you can get back to the lathe and family (not in that order thought). I have a feeling it's going to be a wet spring.

I am surprised that a conservative, Republican State like Indiana allowed gambling. What is the world coming to??

Meant to be humerous.

Following in the humor:

Hopefully a less conservative, friendlier place to be (in Indiana) Now if we could just warm this place up a little :island::drink::bananen_smilies027:

Linda it was 65 and sunny here today:smile:. I actually went and played disc golf at the park on my lunch hour.
