I've been goofing around with closed end BIC pens. I need a very small drill bit (I don't remember the bit size) that is approximately six inches long.

Any ideas?

I get longer bits from MSC ENCO and Granigers ---

Yep, I was looking at the Grainger catalog today. Be prepared for the cost and they only sell wholesale... you have to have a business account.
MSC will sell retail and their prices are a little less on several items.
I have both of them localy and use them both.

I just bought a large supply of drill bits both usa made and import at a store closing I will be selling themoff cheap. SOme of them are Norseman and some are viking brand who make Norseman. I also have irwin as well as the no name imports. Fractional, letter. and number bits a very few metric. Pm me with what your lookling for.

Sorry to barge in but I just looked and I have 10 Norseman 5/32 in 6 in lengths They are in bulk packages so they do not come individually marked I can show you the package though. I will sell you one for $4.00 shipped to you if your interested. I also have them in 9/64th along with several other 6in sizes

I happen to be purchasing great quality drills for plastic from onsrud. These Are actually meant for cnc drilling. They have a very pointy tip, the idea is that the waste will not wrap around (nest) around the bit, elimination the need for peck drilling. They are quite expensive, but they come in every 64th fraction, as well as metric and letters.
Top quality, but perhaps an overkill for pens.
