Maybe, but I got dog gone close; while squaring up a blank I noticed a little slop in the pen mill so I pulled it out tho make sure I had put the corrct sleeve on and then noticed I had yet to glue in tubes.

Can't say that I have done than one yet!
I have put wrong tube in a blank. But I am still making pens, so who knows.

Not really, How else are you to know whether or not to commit a tube? I have had too many boring blanks that look good on the outside....

Closest I've come is to drill the wrong sized hole.

I did but my 10 year found the mistake before it became a problem. True story "dad you did not glue the tubes in" LOL

While I can't say I've made that mistake , I will say , if that's the worst one you ever make you are doing good :biggrin:

Never did that but I have turned down the blank to dicover later I forgot to trim and square the ends first.
