Clickpens trouble

I built 3 click pens.. They all have one problem or another.
1. The click top doesn't work when assembled. If I take it off the bottom it works.
2. The refill only comes out 1/32 of an inch.
3. The pen works (kind of) the ink doesn't retract all the way. It stands proud 1/32 of an inch.
Are my tubes/blanks to blame? I can't switch #2 and #3 because the tops will be mismatched.
They are from Woodcraft. or Woodc**p.

Sorry cant help you Mike,
The only clicks I have make any more are the long clicks from Aaron at Lau lau. and Maybe the Sierra Clicks

Check the tubes.I had the same trouble.I stopped doing these.The top tube is likely where your problem is.

It's the click mechanism with the WC kits.
I stopped using them because I had to modify EVERY mechanism so they would work. That was a couple years ago and I can only assume the design hasn't changed much.

Try the long clicks. All the mechanisms come from the factory already assembled.
