Mike and Linda,

Just wanted to say Thank You for the generous offer and excellent service!!
I received my CA glues, Accelerator and Brass Ager last night.

Had to start turning a pen to test it all out!
CA is excellent but the best part of all is the ZAP Kicker accelerator!
Dries the CA instantly and there is no milky film formed!!
My finishing time is down to around 10 minutes per barrel now!!!
No more waiting for me!

Will order again when my stock runs low!!

Thanks so much!!!

Thanks for the kind words Andrew. I am a big fan of the Zap brand products. We use to carry their CA but the price was more than twice that of the EZ-Bond. Their Kicker accelerator is about the best and I really prefer the spray over the pump. Since EZ-Bond does not offer an aerosol we elected to keep the Pacer brand to use with the EZ-Bond CA.

When we use the Kicker it works best for us if we hold the can about 18-24 inches away from the lathe while the blank is spinning aiming well above the blank. In this way the spray gently floats down on the blank and this keeps it from depositing a large amount of the accelerator on the blank at once. The other thing we use the Kicker for is on oily woods before we apply CA and after we have done the final sanding on the blank, is wipe down the blank with the CA. This helps to dry up some of the oils from woods such as cocobolo and ebony and helps keep the CA from clouding and lifting.

I think adding the Kicker to your inventory was a good move. Now I don't have to drive 14 miles (one way) to find it. Can't wait to get my order. Thanks Mike & Linda !

Thanks for the vote of support Chuck and you are more than welcome. You should have your order shortly since you opted to wait on a couple of things!!:):biggrin::)

Since we are getting snow up here in Indy we might have to consider a trade for some sunshine and hot weather on your next order
