It was just the Wife and I this Thanksgiving and since I work for
Publix,( Gro. chain for those of you in the North and out West) I'm sick and tired of looking at Turkeys. Sooo.... I bought 2 Porterhouse's and grilled em up! Along with a big ol glass of sweet tea and some sweet tater pie for dessert. That was at 3:00 and I'm still hurtin'!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all!!!

With just Lillian and I in the house, we went to Cracker Barrel today. She had the Turkey meal and I had a Pork roast that's on special right now (not too big on turkey).

One of these days I want to try Goose (hey, if it's good enough for Eboneser, why shouldn't I give it try).

We had 2 fried turkeys and some fried dressing, it was rockin'. I just finished leftovers and now I think I will chill with the family. Hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving.

dang blasted turkey was still frozen. being that it was only going to be the wife and I. I had some Venison Round steak that I put in the oven with an apple and red onion. Baked potato and Brussels sprouts and a salad...

Wow... I haven't seen a Publix since I left Hobe Sound... when I first moved to Florida, that was the first grocery store I'd ever been to that had a guy behind the counter making sushi... now even the Kroger in this little town has gotten in on the act.

MMMMMMMMMMM! Homemade Fettucini Alfredo, grilled chicken breasts and caesar salad...with key lime pie for dessert! That's what Thanksgiving is all about.

Sounds like there are several non-traditionalists around here.
