Cap Adjuster tool

Anyone have one of these? I wonder if this is something new..maybe a fix for the thread issues on Jr Gent caps? I'd buy one and see, but you know how Dayacom is..I'd have to buy 500! :frown:

I believe this is for the snap cap style pens.

Ok...I see you are right Doc. I was looking at the tool from the wrong end..I thought it was like a tap and the other end was for a handle. Dang it. I emailed those people and complained about my faulty Jr threads. I think we all should do so and see if they do anything about it.

That tool is a substitute for a number 3 phillips head screwdriver. I used the tool twice, then went back to the screwdriver. Still carry the tool to shows though, in case I have to adjust an old one in front of a customer.

I use a 3/16 flat tip screwdriver...lol Now i might have to get one to use the "tool = knowledge" ploy

In my experience, the best tool for adjusting the dreaded snap-cap insert is the Torx screwdriver that comes with Subaru roof racks.

I'm with Ed on this one. I've always used a #3 phillips screwdriver and see no need to change.
