This is a Closed end Jr. Statesman that I made for my son. I was happy with it until I saw that the cap was cracked. I'm going to try to fix it, but I'm not sure how it will turn out.:frown: I may end up using a different material for the cap.

Regardless on how it turns out, I would like some more of this material. I have an order for two pens in Scarlet & Gray (dispite the dismal Wisconsin game :at-wits-end:) I do not remember who I got this blank from. If you recognize it as yours, please let me know. I'd like several more of them:wink:

Thanks for looking. I'll take any feedback you care to give. Anything I should know about besides the crack?

I think it's very nicely done, but I just don't love the pinstripe blanks for some reason.

Sorry about your Buckeyes!

That looks really great Mike! That's a very nice pinstripe blank too. I have no idea where it came from. When I heard the cap had a crack, I was going to offer you a way to fix it...but that won't work for this pen!

Very nice Mike! too bad about the crack, you could mix up some med ca with the same color as the crack, and if you have any off cuts pull it apart and sand the color down and mix it up with ca.

Isn't there some guy named Jason Swanson who makes these blanks? Not sure if this is an original or a replica.

(Awesome pen by the way. Hope you are able to salvage it!)

I think it would look good with a nice blue cap. Red, white and blue, seen those colors somewhere before...

Nah. No need for blue. Red and white is perfectly good :biggrin:
