Powder Coating Question

OK I went to HF and Bought the Powder coating system (with a 20% coupon it was $48.00 ) but they do not carry the clear powder. What is the best place to get the clear powder?

www.eastwood.com, www.columbiacoatings.com, or www.caswellplating.com. Each one has a loyal following. I personally use the Eastwood low-temp full-gloss clear. It costs twice as much as the regular, but flows and cures at 320F.

Do you need an oven for that? How does that system work?

Also, do you sand the tubes before you powdercoat? How does the powdercoat hold on to the blanks?

Same one I have Max. I too use Columbia Coatings.

That is a very good article about starting with Powdercoating.

Along with powdercoating tubes it is very useful for coating the bullet pens and put a durable finish on them.
