Yes, Jason was advanced to Chief Petty Officer, yesterday. This is a very big deal in the United States Navy. Alot of changes, your uniforms, usually your job and much more. You now are the "go to person" from above and below. And, there is so much more that happens. A lot of which is hard to explain and even harder for someone other than a Chief, to believe. The advancement is well earned and so your congratulations, Jeremy, are very appropriate.
