Just want to stop in and say hello to everyone. Some on you know me some don't, but that's ok. Just a quick catch up. Since my transfer to bartlesville, ok about 8 weeks ago I have spent about 3 or 4 of that in the hospital. They still have no clue what is wrong with me. In Tulsa hospital now and they have no clue either. Was talking like they are going to send me home. Hey all good cause every time they do I just get sick again and put back in. Had alot of time to start looking and new woodworking equipment again. Think I might try my hand at some flatwork instead of turning. Not sure what route I will go. Hopefully I can ge well enough to do something. Wife wants me to make her a bench and cubby organizer for the mudroom when the kids come in from school to put their stuff. Well talk to everyone later.

Good to hear from you. And looking for more things to do with wood is good. Hope they can figure out what's going on - soon.

Some here might know Dustin and know he has had some serious health problems lets all wish the Drs. find out what is the latest cause of his illness.. Dustin Diane and I are sending you good thoughts...

Man, that's a tough one. My dad recently had a brain tumor removed. Doing fine now except a loss of smell and most of his taste.

Good luck, and welcome back. Flat boarding and turning can go hand in hand you know! Do your flat boarding and then make pens out of your cut-offs! And if you really screw up the flat-boarding (I talk from much experience), cut it all up and make some beautiful pens!:biggrin:

You are in my prayers for a full recovery.

Thanks everyone. Fortunately it is not the brain aneurysms causing the problems this time. I have been sick to my stomach and nauseated for the last 3 months with stomach pain. They took out my gallbladder thinking that would fix it but it didn't. I have been in the hospital 4 times since then. I have lost 30 pounds or so, but they just can't pinpoint it. I am home at this minute some new hospitalist came in this morning and decided I can go home instead of being there. That's all good, but everytime they have sent me home they put me back in within a week or two. I haven't worked in a few months either. Hopefully they will hurry up because I don't know how much more I can take. I am currently on pills for depression and honestly I am not the same person I use to be. As far as lathes go Tim, I hope you are enjoying your new lathe. It served me well when I did use it, which wasn't much, but if I do get new one I think I may go for something a little bigger. Not sure what I am going to do there yet.
