Here's a cigar done with my take on "Worthless wood"- in this case Walnut and blue Alumilite. I need to get better at the CA finish. Sanded too deep near the bottom- it meets at the hardware though. PaulDoug Member Joined Mar 2, 2008 Messages 3,488 Location Benton City, WA. Aug 16, 2010 #2 Nice pen. Do you use a polish on your finish after sanding the CA? Something like HUT plastic polish put on and buffed with a soft rag with the lathe at high speed will really make it shine.

Click to expand... You could fill in the dip near the nib with a few coats of thick CA and then sand it so it meets the nib. DAMHIKT
