MY FIRST MODIFIED SLIMLINE RICE PEN

This is my first attempt at casting a rice blank and making a slimline rice pen. I used Sumo glue because the label said it dries white translucent but as you can see the brass tubes show. Next time I'll paint the tubes white.

not to criticize,but try epoxy and paint the inside of the drilled material, and see how your results change. It looks pretty good from this angle, but I know how pictures can lie too! and you probably see it more on your end, but no one has to know yet.

Another trick is tint the epoxy with just a drop or two of Acrylic paint or PR dye.
A neat pen, looks nice from here.

...dye several handfulls of rice different colors. Let the rice dry, mix them all together and cast. Colored rice makes a really unique pen.
