BOW order problems

I was wondering if anyone here has had a problem dealing with Bethlehamolivewood.net.
I place an order with them on the 11th of March while I was in Afghanistan. When I returned home the 22nd of April I had not yet received the items I ordered.:frown::frown::frown:
I called their service number and it took them 8 days to call me back. They told me to e-mail them a copy of the receipt and my credit card statement showing them the money had been taken out of my account and that they would send out a new shipment.
It has been 2 weeks since I sent them the e-mail and still nothing no reply or ordered items.
I am at my wits end and don't know what to do.:at-wits-end::at-wits-end:

After waiting for 6 months from them and having all emails ignored, I gave up on even bothring to try to contact them any more. Monty can help you with the BOW and you get it quickly. His site is www.woodenwonderstx.com and he is a great guy and very reliable.
 
All I can tell you is to email him everyday, same email. Be sure to ask when it was shipped and how, air mail vs regular. Air mail can take 2-4 weeks and regular 8-10 weeks.
 
This isn't unusual for them. They are fast on their good days and never on their bad days. You are always better to buy from local suppliers. Like Monty or Nolan.
 
Do you want me to call and talk to him and check the order status? I can also just send you some from mine and I can work it out with Gashan(sp?) later? The shipping times on these are excessively long so you probably wont get it anytime soon.

Nolan's BOW is THE BEST I have ever used, period. No reason for me to cause myself unnecessary grief when Nolan can get it from California to Georgia in three days for far less money than many others.
 
There is a really long story that goes with the manufacturer of BOW. If you know it you will quickly realize that getting the stuff to the US is an adventure all of it's own. there are those that have devoted themselves to contending with it. But lets just say when you know what is really going on. You start wondering how we ever have it at all. they cut the stuff on a saw blade that sticks up through a piece of plywood and yes people have been seriously hurt doing it. to get to the post office they often have to pass through security check points and war zones. often they cannot get there at all. I have no idea what they ahve to go through to gather the raw materials in the first place. I know it is such an ordeal that people have traveled over there just to see it for themselves.
So yes it is a huge pain that the service is at best unreliable, the other option is that it dos not exist at all. Sorry to all of those that get the short end of the stick and I recommend you order from those here in the US that have it. let them put up with the delays, lost orders and being ignored.
