One of the vendors in the business classified area (wolfdancer) had a thread offering lace redwood blanks.
I sent a reply on the thread about it, got a pm with the amount a couple of days later, and paid that evening through Paypal.
I never heard that payment was received, so I contacted him asking if he got the payment on 3/2.
On 3/2 he replied that he got payment fine, and was sending out on 3/3 with other items for other people.
Since then, I have sent a few pm's, and went to his site, and called three times, leaving messages each time. I have always asked if something was wrong, which you can see by going back to the original threads. These threads are locked, so I cannot change anything, or inquire any more through them
From 3/12 to 3/18, he was never online under his handle, and is not responding to pms.
In this same period, there are four other people who are also asking the same questions. Now there are six people with issues on communications or delivery of product.
As I had a conversation with some of the moderators late last week, I held off putting this thread online. All of the thread generated by the individual in question are locked.
Over the weekend, and yesterday, the person in question was still logging in, yet still no replies to pms, or phone calls.

I would like to great warn others that there might be issues with any transactions and communications with the above individual

My beef is not about the non-delivery, but is about not communicating with his customers. If he has some issues happening, then say so, without going into detail, and I would have gladly held off saying/doing anything about this.

Sincerely
Jerry Sambrook

I noticed that his classified was locked but I wonder how many members still visit the ad, read just the first post, not knowing about the problem, then fire off a PM with their order and paypal information? It would be a shame for others to lose their money this way!

actually the post say the 3rd of APRIL. By my calendar that;s a week from Saturday. Be patient guys.

I know Rodney has had some problems come out of the blue in the past, this may just be another spat of life.

To keep this from getting nasty, the date WAS EDITED by Rodney, so all parties are saying what they believe to be true. Ground-rules were changed.

I'm sorry, but publicly starting this type of thread in the first place is - in just my opinion - in poor taste. Probably not what someone who is having a rough go of things wants to hear or see.

This is the real complaint I have. He does still come here, so why not respond to the pms that are sent?

Jerry, I have dealt with Rodney many times before and despite him going through some hard times he has ALWAYS come through for me.

I think all Jerry wanted was a little communication. He had made numerous attempts to find out what was going on and received nothing. Jerry is very fair and had exhausted every option before he posted here. He has every right to post a review that states his opinion of what took place and he did it well.

I ordered the redwood blanks from "wolfdancer" and received them in a timely fashion. Sometimes life's littles surprizes catch me off guard and I am unable to respond to emails on a timely fashion. I am sure the same is true with "wolfdancer" and was and am willing to give him the benefit of my patience.

Oh yes, and they are real nice blanks.............

I agree wholeheartedly with Eugene, I have dealt with Rodney over the last couple of years and can say without reserve he has always come through. It may not be the best course of action not replying to all PM's but if the man is going through rough times it can be difficult having to repeatedly explain his situation over and over again. Give him time if you have paid him or ordered from him he will deliver that is one thing you can be sure of.From my dealings with him in the past I have always found Rodney to be of very good character, honest and very reliable. I don't know if any of this helps but this is my opinion and I don't often get involved in things like this. cheers Robert.

Man, I hate threads like this, they always seem to take a wrong turn. The original poster is now being painted as being the "bad guy" here for starting the thread while the "other guy" is being painted as the victim!

I agree with Wolftat, Jerry had every right to post this.

Jerry handled this in an extremely professional manner from my perspective. He tried several angles before going public with this thread. Nothing that Jerry has posted is incorrect.

Rodney apparently is going through another rough patch and that is sad for him, but as a businessman he does have obligations to those who have paid him for his product. As Jerry stated clearly, communication would have avoided this.`

For those who don't know...Wolftat is the Products Review Manager and if he does not have a problem with this posting, then IAP does not have a problem with it. What Wolftat says in the Products Review section goes, unless he violates the TOS or AUP which I seriously doubt he will.

I hope he comes through for you. I already received my order awhile ago and they are awesome. I would be happy to send you half of my blanks if you would like.

If it makes you feel any better, I am still waiting on blanks from an old vendor that is no longer around. Anybody remember Karl?
