Once you get to segmenting, you just can't stop !!! Here are a couple CSUSA Artisan Panache Rollerball pens I did this week. First is My Zulu Warrior I did in African Blackwood, Brown Mallee Burl from Australia, along with some 3-ply pick guard in Black/White/Black. Black Chrome fittings, and finished in 8 coats of thick CA. Second is a Panache Rollerball, also in Black Chrome, Made from RedHeart, White Pic Guard, and finished with a thick CA. Both pens have the end caps and dimensions reversed, putting the pen itself into the longer, thiner barrel for better handeling and comfort. The thicker, shorter barrell now serves as the pen holder so your pen can stand upright and be viewed as art also. Jim S

For those of you who are going to ask. A Djembe is a goblet shaped drum originally from West Africa. Also used by the Bamana tribes in Mali for their peace dances and gatherings. And my stripes on the Zulu pen are White/Black/White. Jim S

Hey Jim those look great. I really like that last one. I have been thinking about doing something like this on one of my segmented pens in the middle piece. I think I will give it a try tonight. You are so right once you get started it is hard to stop. I will put some sort of segmenting on most of my pens now.
