work in progress....UPLOADED FINISHED PICTURE

My first attempt at making a segmented pen. Just finished the lower and I had to put it up. I'll update when I'm finished with the upper. How'd I do?
Woods are brown mallee and Wenge. Copper circuit board sheeting and white plastic sheet.

The choice of materials, the contrast and the dimension are perfect. You may have opened a door thru which your creativity and craft have passed. Welcome to the challenge of making what might be good....great. Welcome!

How did you do!? That pen looks great! Very very nice job! I've been wanting to try a segmented pen! This just makes me want to start now!

Very Well Indeed, Michael.
Excellent Segmenting, Fit and Finishes,
Great Contrast and Selection of Materials.
I don't know if there was a Special Reason for the Bulbous shape of the Lower Blank.
For my taste it is in conflict with the Top Section, which is more conventionally shaped.
Never the Less a Great Job.
Congratulations,
Brian.

Brian, I should have known better. I turned the lower and upper at different times and I never compared them before assembly. I know better than this. I became consumed by what I was doing. It's was certainly a costly oversight. The picture doesn't show it. However, in my childlike frenzy, I drilled the upper out of center. I conscripted this one to my box of prototypes and general blunders. It fitting both categories.

Thankfully, I live to fight another day with people like you by my side. Yet, now I know what I'm capable of.

Thank you and everyone else for your kind words, thoughts, and constructive critique.
