I have not seen any posts about scrabooking wood.
I am thinking about taking a thin strip of wood from a pen blank and an end cut polishing them coat with poly then glueing them to 8 1/2 X 11 card stock with a discription of the woods type and growing areas. Maybe 8 to a page.
Has anyone else done this?

If you are doing it out of personal interest, then it's a grand idea. If you are doing it to try to catalog useful information about the various woods, there are loads of websites available with similar information for a lot less effort. I keep a scrapbook with pictures of pens that I've made against a backdrop of a card with the type of wood.

With my pen database software I keep a picture of the pen with the wood used and a general area where its found.
