Can anyone suggest a place that I can have some blanks stabilized for a decent price? I am not having a whole lot of them done at a time. I just want to have a handful done at a time?

I believe that Constant (Laserlinez.com) offers blank stabilization . At one point, the service was listed on his website. It would certainly be worth an e-mail, as he has always responded to my requests quickly.

I get mine done at woodlab since he's within driving distance.

He's done the handle material for Spyderco, Queen Cutlery, and Bark River Knives.

I did a quilted maple pen from him that turned out great. He will even stabalize oily woods like Cocobolo, and Lignum Vitae. I've got some purple heart he did, and it darkens the wood somewhat (heat does that to some woods. He did a BEB blank that Buzzzz4 gave me, and we were both surprised how much more flame came out as a result of the process).
