What type of gouge

for the people who are still using a wood lathe to make their kit-less pen. More important if you are making the nib section. B/c the nib section is only 1" or less what gouges are you using? thanks





I have a wood pro chuck with a R-2 radius.

Hey Bill...Check out Steve's Youtube vid on kitless stuff, including sections...great way to start and he covers that. I'd go with a skew or detail gouge...something small'ish
