This is a walnut buckle I did for a brother in law. It is 2'' x 3'' 1/4 inch thick. This was done with a combination of hand and power carving tools. Shallow relief carving is one of the hardest things for me to carve. With these old eyes I have to do most of it under a magnifying light. And it will give you a headache.

Nice job on the buckle. I can't carve anything so really appreciate seeing some good stuff. How do you attach it to the belt or is it glued to a larger plain metal buckle?
