Vaccum Pump

I have two Vaccum Pumps out of a AC charging mechaine, my question
is can these be used to cast pen blanks ? If so i will be useing one and selling the outher, what have you guys been paying for used
pumps ?

If it is the little blue box with air inlet on one side and vacuum inlet on the other, they sell new from Harbor Freight for $15. Yes, you can use any vacuum pump for casting as long as it draws a strong vacuum and AC units do.
