Tried something new

I had some time after dinner and thought I would work some more on these. I hope to get a pen made from this material this weekend sometime.

The pictures are all of the same piece and I tried different angles and lighting to attempt to capture how the colors change and blend. It definitely looks better in person, but I tried to show it.

You may want to wait until you see a pen. The pictures are blown up, the actual size is about a quarter of the pictures.
My friends say they look like metal that's been heated or an oil stain on blacktop. It depends where the light source is as to what colors you see.

I will try to finish a pen this weekend.
