I just got off the phone with Mr. Beall and they have a new product coming out. It's a tap that comes in all the standard spindle sizes and threads, so you can make your own jam chucks and face plates out of wood and they'll thread right on to your lathe. I thought that was pretty cool, but maybe that's just me. No info on pricing yet, but I'm sure it will be reasonable.

I have this tap from Enco. Works great and is out on the market now. Yes there are many other thread sizes as well.
