SuperNova 2 Jaws

Hello all,

I would like to find a set of jaws for a SuperNova2 chuck that have a long nose (similar to the Nova JPIN jaws NOVA PIN JAW SET) but with a minimum OD of less than 0.9375" (15/16"). Does anything like this exist commercially? If not is there a way to turn down a set of the JPIN jaws from 0.984" to <0.93"? If it's not something that I can do, can omeone else machine them for me?

Long nose or smaller diameter - not both in Nova

Mini jaws will go that small, but not in length.

Thought about expansion chucks (like those from Rubber Chucky) or a jam chuck?

Not sure if either of these work...neither is exactly what you want...

I'd say that you'd need to find a friendly member or machine shop near you to machine it down for you. Fit the jaws to the chuck so that the chuck can be held in the metal lathes chuck.
